Bantam
Dell, A division of Random House, Inc. has taken a different
approach into the virtual world. Bantam Dell’s main focus
was on creating an active book culture in the metaverse. While
developing an intelligent community focused on the books and
authors Bantam Dell publishes, they have built a following using
in world events such as live author readings with authors like
Dean Koontz and George RR Martin along with monthly podcasts
with trivia and prizes.
I produced
this project directly with Bantam Dell and I was very pleased
with their new island and the quality of author events we were
able to give the virtual book community.
